“At Stone’s Throw, the cottage met all our needs and more. The information pack was good. The beds were really comfortable. The whole cottage was a relaxed home from home. We loved all your little extra touches. My husband was up on Lewis for work so I tagged along. Chickens were dotting about the garden and the weather was lovely. So, I got comfortable on the garden chair to read my book. One friendly chicken came up and pecked at my toes. Later the same chicken knocked at the door for some attention. We have both experienced a lot of other establishments in Stornoway, but Stones Throw is at the top.
“We’ve loved this place so much. So close to the Stones. Clean, tidy and comfortable. The sun and moon came out on the last day over the Stones. Incredible experience. If we ever have the good fortune of coming back to Lewis, this is the only place we want to stay. Thank you for making it available.
